Quem me lê há mais tempo, desde o semiótica, talvez, sabe que eu tenho fama de cínico e tudo o mais mas, por outro lado, sou um amante, sou um romântico. Minha noiva é em minha vida equivalente à conquista da grandeza sonhada por Julien Sorel, palavra de honra. Sábado passado falávamos em como o fim de semana é-nos um mundinho paralelo, alheio às atividades e chateações dos dias “úteis”. Em nossa vida, minha e dela, isso é uma verdade inoperável porque apenas passamos os sábados juntos; o único dia que temos é o sétimo dia – e eu deveria ser um religioso por isso – pois ela trabalha aos domingos. (Ela está prestes a se formar em administração e já cumpre devidamente sua atividade: administra a nossa vida, os nossos gastos, faz as contas, diz se posso ou não comprar aquele livro de 65 reais, e ainda não somos casados, vejam bem.) De segunda à sexta o karma é o de praxe: trabalho, faculdade e estresse. E cansaço, e sono. E metrô, ah, o metrô.
Tenho tido pouco tempo para os amigos, e eles têm reclamado disso. Acham-me arrogante, vêem sarcasmo em tudo o que digo, etc. É uma besteira das grandes, para falar a verdade. Eu mal tenho tido tempo para mim mesmo, para as minhas coisas, e isso é coisa que entristece, sim. Dos amigos peço compreensão, é o mínimo.
Ontem mais uma vez não fui à aula. Que preguiça da faculdade, que preguiça de a lot of things. Hoje é dia de eles me ligarem a dizer “a pauta é pra hoje, Ed?”, etc., etc. Não sei se a pauta é pra hoje, se for o.k., não tem problema. Há umas coisas divertidas na faculdade, sim, não vou ser injusto. Por exemplo, as discussões das pessoas pelos motivos mínimos. Não sei se é porque já chego lá depois de um dia atribulado e já não tenho paciência para esse gênero de coisas ou se essas pessoas é que são cheias de animosidade demais. Com isso eu me divirto, eu me esbaldo por dentro. Sabe aquele cara ali no canto com a cabeça escorada na mão, os olhos pela metade e um sorrisinho de canto? Sou eu.
