Salinger não merece os fãs que tem. Isso explica o fato de tantas pessoas - uma boa parte dos que se entendem intelectuais - não gostarem d’O Apanhador. E juro que agorinha, pesquisando comunidades no orkut, num instante de iluminação, eu me uni ideologicamente a essas pessoas. Ler algo como “para todos que se identificam com o Holden Caudfield (…)” mata qualquer um de vergonha.
Eu não digo que não gosto d’O Apanhador, somente não o coloco entre os que mais gosto. Bem da verdade eu tenho uma certa apatia aos americanos. Sempre gostei mais dos europeus,em especial franceses.
Mas no orkut a chance de você encontrar algo escrito com a grafia errada é maior que a certa. Tchaikovsky e nem sei se escrevi certo que o diga.
Cara, aí a gente volta àquela discussão: no Brasil vêem arte como moral e não como arte, que é muito libertação.
